Job Description
Wold leading provider of refrigeration solutions is looking for an ambitious and motivated Service Sales Engineer to develop the chiller and maintenance business.
Key Responsibilities:
- To have direct end-user contact with new and existing customers.
- To maintain close contact with the business market, promoting business growth, gathering and reporting market data.
- To ensure a suitable amount of new business leads are generated every month and followed up to a positive conclusion.
- To identify and exploit new business opportunities such as additional products & services that the company should be developing in order to satisfy market demands.
- To work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager & Sales Manager in sales activities relating to all aspects of product and service promotion.
- To ensure that quotations are submitted and followed up in a timely and professional manner,
- To ensure that customer requirements are correctly interpreted.
- To conduct sales negotiations within specified limits of authority.
- To establish reasons for non-conversion.
- To maintain customer contact throughout contract execution, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
- To update and maintain the CRM system with all new leads and opportunities.
- To submit regular and comprehensive sales and marketing reports through the CRM system.
- To assist, when necessary, in the resolution of queries relating to debts.
- To perform other duties as and when required.
Key requirements:
- Computer literate and good commercial acumen.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Good project management and execution skills.
- Pro-active with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Qualified to Degree or BTEC standard (or equivalent)
- Previous sales experience, preferably within the HVAC industry, but not a necessity.
- A good understanding of a Profit & Loss account and its budgets.
