Job Description
Our Client is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of automatic fire dampers and the associated control systems.
Applicants should have a good understanding of the HVAC industry and possess the ability to understand technical documentation such as Approved Documents & Product / Test Standards.
Previous experience within passive fire protection with formal qualifications (i.e. IFE Level 2 or 3 in PFP) would be preferred, however, training can be provided.
This position is a new role due to company growth to increase the profitable sales across the area of responsibility (Midlands, North and Scotland) by providing technical and project support to the field based Area Managers under the guidance of the National Sales Manager.
The candidate would be expected to attend and contribute to site and customer meetings, develop solutions based upon our Client's current product range, manage projects as they progress from pre order to post order stage, and hand over major panel projects to our Client's Service commissioning team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To manage personal appointment diary and ensure an efficient use of time
• To work with ASM’s to support in project specific meetings developing solutions.
• To provide a high level of technical assistance and advice to consultants and contractors.
• To provide concise and accurate quotations prior to procurement to facilitate a clean order to be processed by the Sales Office.
• Provide a detailed handover to enable projects to be delivered effectively and without commercial risk.
• Provide a clear link between the commercial activities / technical requirements / project delivery to ensure all parties are aware of changes as the projects progresses.
