Northern Area Sales Engineer

 

Leading Wholesaler and Distributor of Airconditioning and Refrigeration products is seeking a field-based (northern England & Scotland) Sales Engineer to promote their extensive range of refrigeration, air conditioning and & electronic control products.

 

Reporting to the Northern Branch & Area Manager, candidates should have relevant experience in sales and application of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Any background in electronic controls and industrial refrigeration would be an added benefit.

 

Good communication skills are essential, as the role involves considerable contact with customers via sales visits, by telephone and e-mail enquiry.

 

Excellent technical back-up is provided by their team of Product Managers and Application Engineers.

 

Extensive training on their  products and systems will be provided, as required.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Provision of structured sales coverage of the territory.

• Building strong ongoing relationships with existing customers.

• Identification and development of new business.

• Liaison with our technical support staff and suppliers to provide accurate quotations.

• Provision of timely and accurate customer visit reporting.

• Ensuring KPI’s and sales targets are achieved in-line with the company strategies and objectives.

• Provision of staff cover at their office, as required during holiday and sickness absence
